Carrie Neumayer

Carrie Neumayer is a Louisville, Kentucky based illustrator and a graduate of the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Her current work combines energetic linework with bold color and atmospheric texture.

Carrie's influences are wide ranging and include German Expressionism, the Vienna Secession movement, American advertising and illustration of the 1950s, and the portraits of American artist Alice Neel.

Carrie's work has appeared in Bitch Magazine, Rethinking Schools Magazine, Tom Tom Magazine, Louisville Magazine, Kentucky Monthly Magazine, LEO Weekly, Cincinnati Magazine, and in T shirt designs for WHY Louisville.
